Mission Conference in Ft. Myers, FL

The past few days, our family have spend some time with the church family at McGregor Baptist Church in Ft. Myers, FL. We had the opportunities to meet so many other awesome missionaries that are being used in so many different ways. I'm reminded that God uses a variety of people and their unique gifts and abilities to fulfill His great Story. One of the highlights of our trip was the opportunity to speak to a Life Group fellowship on Friday night. My wife and I were blessed and encouraged by many of the group members. Most of them have retired from the north and understood the culture and the mission of the great north.

We also had a great stay with Bob and Hope Dougherty (I love the name - Bob Hope). They are some of the sweetest "Buckeyes" fans that we have ever met, despite my loyalty to University of Michigan. Anyway, we have been blessed to have the chance to get to know them. Bob had just found out that he has stage 4 cancer earlier this week. Would you please put them on your prayer list and pray for God to do a miracle.

Thank you, McGregorites for a wonderful week and look forward to an opportunity to visit again in the future!
